What do you think of Yahoo web hosting?

I think the freebie is Geo-Cities. I have a domain already and want to develop my site into what eventually could be a web based business. I’m taking it slow, and don’t want to start paying a bunch of money to test out my site. Is Yahoo web hosting the way to go, or can you recommend something better to start off?
I guess I would have to forward my domain to a Geo-Cities address, and I’m not crazy about that.

I never liked Yahoo at all. I started out building Geocities sites and I hated them so I never bothered to buy a package from Yahoo. I’ve heard it’s horrible though. There are a lot of people that I know that’ve had a lot of problems with it. Some that I would recommend though are below, and I even host websites myself.

I wouldn’t go with yahoo if you don’t want to spend a lot of money. I like Host monster a lot & they are about $6 a month and even cheaper if you pay for a year. They give you almost unlimited everything.
