Any really good sites out there that you would recommend to register a domain name? Also, web hosting… that does not cost a lot. I want to build my own website. Thanks!

I currently own 92 domain names and have either registered them with or transferred them to GoDaddy.com.
They are very helpful and have some great package plans.
Beware of some of these super-cheap fly by night domain registers that offer you a domain name for near nothing. When it comes time to renew it, they hit you up big time!

godaddy.com is really cheap. You can get a .com domain for around 7 bucks a year! You can get hosting with them as ell for 3.99 a month or just have your blog masked as a .com site. For example, I have a blog on wordpress masked as http://www.braca-montes.com

like the others said, godaddy.com is the best one you can find. Very reasonable rates. Just be careful about all the stuff they want you to ad. Just get what you know you need and don’t let them trick you into stuff you don’t need.

You have several options when it comes to web hosting. I suggest that you take a look at several to find the best fit for you. Many web hosts will register your domain for free with the hosting package. There are also web hosts that assist in the design and proper building of the website content.

I suggest you check My Webbie Hosting. Their cheapest plan is only $3.95/month and already includes 1.5 G disk space, 150 monthly data transfer, 50 email accounts, etc. Registration of the domain name is FREE for the first year.
