You can register a domain name through them for only $19.95
a year with a simple two-step process. They also offer complete affordable business web hosting packages.

Go to http://www.ukreg.com, set up an account then choose your domain. Its best that you take the .com and the .co.uk (assuming you are UK based, if not then take the location for your country e.g. .ca for Canada etc.)
Cheers

There are couple of ways to buy a domain name.
1. Go to a domain registrar like 1and1 Internet and type in the domain name you are interested in to search to see if it is available for purchase. If the domain has not been registered then you can just following the instructions to register the domain yourself. 1and1 Internet offers the best domain package around for $5.99, which includes free 1GB email/Webmail, 5-page starter Web site and lots of tools/softwares to get you online. See a sample Web site at http://www.superfina.com
2. If the domain that you want is already registered by someone else then you can go to domain aftermarket such as Sedo to see if you can purchase it from its owner. Sedo is a gloabl marketplace for buying and selling domain names and Web sites. You can also park your domain name with Sedo and earn money. Another good domain aftermarket is Afternic.
